Kereru art

Here is  my Kereru art that our class did with pastels and copied it onto our camp book to a black piece of paper. (The image is below the words) I hope you enjoy it  and also a "Kereru VS Possum" facts.

  • Native

  • Wood pigeon
  • Eat seeds whole and spreading them by poo, helping our native trees.
  • Its illegal to kill and eat Kereru
  • Kereru can fly up to 50 kilometers in search for food.
  • Kereru eat between 60-70 native trees varieties.    
  • Pest
  • Brown
  • Big eyes
  • Threat to birds
  • Dangerous
  • Black
  • Family with Stoats and Ferrets
  • Kills birds
  • Killer zone
  • Almost every female possum has a baby every year.
  • Possums can live up to 14 years.
  • Possums damage and eat our bushes  and farm props.
